Glycolic (AHA) Acid Peels as well as B-Lift Peels are effective for removing fine lines and smoothing out the skin. Glycolic Peels remove the upper surface of the skin to expose newer, clearer skin. After upper layers of skin have been removed, a new layer of skin develops. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which causes it to "blister" and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
